NOTE: DUE TO THE OVERWHELMING RESPONSE TO GUIDED TOURS - SUART GALLERIES IS CURRENTLY FULLY BOOKED AND CAN NO LONGER TAKE RESERVATIONS FOR SCHOOL GROUP VISITS. WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.
FREE GUIDED TOURS AT 1 PM
Tuesday - Friday, docents trained by the SUArt Galleries staff in collaboration with the exhibition scholar, Professor Gary Radke, will give a brief tour through the exhibition, highlighting key pieces.
Every Thursday, due to extended evening hours, there will be a second free guided tour starting at 6 p.m.
Some weekends, when docents are available, the gallery will offer 1 p.m. free tours for both Saturday and Sunday - call for details (315) 443-4097.
Materials for self-guided audio tours are available under our "Multimedia" link. We strongly encourage group leaders, professors and Michelangelo enthusiasts to make use of these materials and to guide their group or self through the exhibition. We recommend an hour or two to closely examine the works, and an additional 50 minutes to enjoy the video about Michelangelo's drawings in our theater.
